In my Basics of Branding workshop, we talk about how branding is often an evolutionary process. It should be! Just as businesses adjust their practices and policies to adapt to changing times, so must their images.
Look at Coca-Cola, for example. This is one of the most well-known and easily recognized brands on the planet, right? It's a fizzy soda we know is terrible for you, chock full of processed sugar and chemicals.
But did you know that it was initially marketed as a "health tonic" thanks to the presence of...cocaine?
Coca-Cola's product evolved with the times and so did their brand. Have you ever heard of a sane doctor recommending Coke?!
Just like Coke, our brand is evolving too.
The Japanese have a word that I love: kaizen. It means "improvement" or more accurately, "change for better over time." It's a concept that governs much of my own business and what I teach clients: that the goal is incremental improvement over time.
Over the past year I've taken on associates and formed partnerships to build a team that better serves our clients. Everyone I work with is laser-focused on my core values: honesty, authenticity, and dedication.
And so, we are now the Grace Marketing Group™.
This evolution also positions us for continued growth and expansion as we move into the e-commerce space. My team and I are hard at work creating comprehensive training packages available for digital download in our store, such as:
Social Media Starter Kit
(Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Understanding Facebook Advertising Branding Discovery Exercise
Those products will roll out in the next few months. Perhaps even better, online courses are coming in 2020.
That's right! Soon you'll be able to access some of my most popular training workshops like The Basics of Branding and Social Media 101 right from your computer. (If you'd like to be notified when those become available, click here.)
Even though my business is expanding, you'll continue to receive the same personalized attention and hands-on collaboration with me. I just have even more to offer now!
Over the next few days you'll see these changes begin to take effect on my social media profiles, e-mail newsletter (now called the REAL TALK ROUNDUP), and elsewhere.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty. As cheesy as it sounds, getting to this point is a dream come true for me--and it wouldn't be possible without you! I consider myself very fortunate indeed to have wonderful clients who refer me to others, and a community that supports small businesses like mine.
Until next time,
